Begin your fjord adventure by passing under the iconic Måløy Bridge, which marks its 50th anniversary in 2024. This impressive bridge connects the island of Vågsøy with the mainland, serving as a vital link for the community.
From there, the boat will take you on a guided tour through the southern fjords of Måløy, including Vågsfjorden, Fåfjorden, and Skatestraumen. As you sail through these scenic waters, you’ll witness Norway’s rugged natural beauty, from towering cliffs to tranquil waters. Weather permitting, you may catch a glimpse of Hornelen, Europe’s highest sea cliff, though it sometimes hides in the mist.

- Måløy Tours is located right at the port — just steps from your ship. We are a local operator and we guarantee you will be back at least 1 hour before sailing. No stress, no rushing. You are in safe hands!
- Guiding and Language: The tour includes guiding and will be provided in English. On some departures, we use audioguides
- Distance to the Boat: To reach the boat, you will need to walk approximately 650 meters from the meeting point.
- Clothing and Footwear: It’s important to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear to ensure your comfort throughout the tour.
- Ticket Categories: We offer three ticket types: Adult, Child (ages 4-14), and Infant (under 4). Infants travel free of charge, but you must still reserve a space for them due to boat capacity limits.
- Tour Cancellation: Please note that if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the excursion Should this happen, you will receive a full refund
- Meeting Point: Please meet 15 minutes before departure at Måløy Tours’ sales point at the cruise pier.
- Late departure? Do not worry. All our tours have been scheduled to bring you back to the pier right on time for your cruise boarding. Leave the schedule to us and enjoy the tour! 😊
What do I need to bring?
- Weather-Appropriate Clothing and Footwear: Be sure to dress for the weather, as conditions can vary, and sturdy footwear is recommended for walking and deck access.
- Camera: Don’t forget your camera! You’ll experience rugged nature and stunning scenic views that you’ll want to capture and keep as lasting memories.
- Snacks and Drinks: While on some departures there is the possibility to purchase snacks and drinks onboard, you may also want to bring your own refreshments, especially water on sunny days, to stay hydrated during the journey.
