This scenic bus tour takes you along the beautiful Stad coastline, through open landscapes, small coastal communities, and viewpoints where the sea and land meet in dramatic ways. The tour is designed at a relaxed pace, with well-timed stops for photos, short walks, and time to enjoy the surroundings.
The tour begins with a drive to Selje, a charming coastal village known for its beautiful sandy beach and peaceful atmosphere. Here you will have time to walk along the shoreline, enjoy the fresh sea air, and take photos of the open coast and surrounding scenery.
From Selje, the journey continues to Honningsvåg, where we stop at a viewpoint offering impressive views toward the West Cape area. From this location, you can look out over the open ocean, steep cliffs, and the rugged coastline that has shaped life on Stad for centuries.
On the return journey, we make a stop Leikanger at Stad Hotel, beautifully located with views of fjord and mountains. This stop offers a pleasant break, time to stretch your legs, and a chance to enjoy the surroundings before the drive back.
The order of stops may be adjusted during the tour depending on conditions and logistics, but all highlights are included. This tour offers a well-balanced combination of coastal scenery, viewpoints, and local atmosphere, making it an ideal way to experience the unique landscapes of the Stad region in comfort.

- Måløy Tours is located right at the port — just steps from your ship. We are a local operator and we guarantee you will be back at least 1 hour before sailing. No stress, no rushing. You are in safe hands!
- Guiding and Language: The tour includes guiding on the bus and will be provided in English.
- Meeting Point: Please meet 15 minutes before departure at Måløy Tours’ sales point at the cruise pier.
- Ticket Categories: We offer three ticket types: Adult, Child (ages 4-14), and Infant (under 4). Infants travel free of charge, but you must still reserve a space for them due to bus capacity limits.
- Cancellation: Please note that if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the excursion Should this happen, you will receive a full refund
- The tour provider reserves the right to adjust or reschedule departure times if circumstances require
- Late departure? Do not worry. All our tours have been scheduled to bring you back to the pier right on time for your cruise boarding. Leave the schedule to us and enjoy the tour! 😊

- Snacks and Drinks: While local snacks may sometimes be available in Stad Hotel, you may also want to bring your own refreshments, especially water on sunny days, to stay hydrated during the journey.
